Welcome! If you’ve landed here, you’re likely interested in learning more about our Mentor Program—a unique opportunity for undergraduate students to connect with practicing psychologists, gain insight into the field, and explore next steps toward graduate school and a career in psychology.
About the Mentor Program
As a private practice, we are only able to offer formal internships to MA-level students. However, we’re passionate about supporting all students who are curious about psychology. Four years ago, we created our Mentor Program as an alternative for undergraduate students. The program gives you access to our team and a glimpse into our lives as psychologists.
Each summer, we host a group of undergraduate students for a day of education, inspiration, and networking. Last year, we welcomed our largest group yet: 14 active and engaged students! We invite guest speakers and hold interactive sessions designed to inform and inspire you as you consider your next steps.

8:30–9:00 AM: Arrival
9:00 AM–3:00 PM: Program (includes a break & lunch)
Location: Davidson Office212 S Main Street, Davidson, NC
4th Floor Conference Room with a lovely patio
What to Expect:
A full day with practicing psychologists and co-owners of Carolina Psychology Center
Guest speakers, including a local professor presenting on graduate school applications
Coffee, snacks, and lunch provided
Opportunity for ongoing, scheduled one-on-one contact via Google Meet after the May gathering

Fee: $25
This nominal fee covers coffee, snacks, and lunch on the day of the program.
